Need tach signal wire for JDM Evo 8

Hi guys, I'm trying to install a shift light on my JDM evo 8, and I don't know which wire is the tach signal from the ECU.
Can someone please help me out?
Cheers

Hey man thanks for the effort but is that for a US Evo?
I need it for a JDM one, the US and JDM ones run different computers.

Yeah, most of the ECU wiring pinouts between the JDM and USDM car is the same.. I think the major difference is the Injector order and the Coil drivers.. the Tach and sensor wiring should be the same...

go to the apexi website and download the installation guide for the s-afc, it has your pinouts on it for the JDM CT9A

Is pin 58 the same tach wire on an 05 evo? What color is the wire? The Ecu is behind the glove box.

Guys,
US Evo 8 and JDM Evo 8 RS use similar ECUs i.e. 4 plugs w/ 2 rows of pins!

JDM Evo 8 GSR/MR uses an ECU with 3 plugs and 3 rows of pins!!!

Had a guy down here who bought an AEM EMS to use in his JDM Evo 8 GSR and found out that it would not fit/ plug in cause the plugs are completely different!!
He is selling the EMS and getting a MOTEC

Thats a good point.. The late JDM Evo8 (Evo 8.5 or the MR) and new Evo9 use the new conectors.. I haven't even seen the new connectors yet.. I suspect it was Mitsubishi's attempt to stop ECU swaps and slow down the Reflash Tuners..

As someone already pointed out:

JDM Evo 7GSR = JDM Evo 8RS = USDM Evo 8 = 2 row

JDM Evo 8GSR = JDM Evo8MR = 3 row

The JDM Evo8GSR pinout is below. **** CAN ANYONE WITH USDM EVO9 confirm if the pinout below is same as your (i.e. USDM Evo9) pinout?
