changed tranny, whine still there?

matt, thanks for the very informative info!!!!!!! I do have the EXEDY TRIPLE CARBON in the car, the problem is NOT clutch related, but it happened at the 250 mile point after I put the clutch in. I had the non-recommended fluid put in the tranny and T.C.
i have always had the exedy brand in my car (always will) and the last exedy twin plate made the usual multiplate noise im used to that noise. I'm thinking on leaving the bad TC in the car because the howling noise drowns out my wife in the passenger seat!!!!!!(JK) the problem is defenatley in the TC and will be replaced as soon as my wife says it can be replaced.(jk). the triple plate clutch is far more pleasent to drive and has more grip than the previous exedy twin. i will keep you posted on the outcome of my tc rebuild, and Matt, you let me know how you like your new TC.
