Poll: PO300 code. ignore it and drive or get a new car?

i have been getting po300 codes lately and mitsu dealer seems like they dont have a solution for it. i dont want to take my car to dealer again for a week worth of time just to get them to cleared up the code.
It is really irratating when it is time to get an emission test. i might consider a different vehicle...
Or is it something that can you can accept it and just drive it as it is with ses light on?

I believe they (dealership) offer a "flash" which changes the sensitivity of certain sensor(s). In all honesty they should not charge you though one person on this site has had to pay $90 I believe.

Do you feel stumble at part throttle at ~3000 rpm?

When this happens in my car, all the sudden the throttle has no power and it free revs like i'm in nuetral, then all the sudden it kicks and everythings cool.

Buy a code reader from Pep Boys for $80. You can read and clear codes whenever they pop up.

mine always happen at crusing 80mph in 5th gear...and when i give a push, car starts to vibrate...
i dont think my dealer has that reflash because when they fixed my car first time, they told me they reset the ecu....(it took them about a week to do this)
and funny thing is i called the dealer a week ago and asked them if they had the reflash available and they told me resetting the ecu is same thing as reflash...then i knew they were full of it...
i cant trust techs at mitsu dealers in nashville, TN. There are only one mitsu dealer in nashville anyway..

thats the multiple cylinder misfire code, it would catch my attention to the point where i'd want to fix it, if you're not modded all to hell then odds are its probly not all that difficult to diagnose.

am i possibly not in tune to things, is it real common for evos to come up with this code?

How does it free rev with the clutch engaged?

I have had the PO300 code twice in the last month and the dealer just resets the ECU.

Got a call from Mitsu today and am told that the ECU reflash will be availble next week, next week!!!!!

My po300 code comes on around 3000 rpm at part throttle. sometimes it comes on when i start my car.. the reflash is just going to widen the threshold of the sensors; its not gonna fix whats really wrong. i cant stand that stupid ses light.
