dynoflash question

I have an apexi avc-r and safc II, would it be pointless for me to get a dynoflash, or would it still give me some gains?

It will help for sure. Using the safc you can have a different tunr for race gas or alky which is a huge benefit.

The flash is a much more precisise and effective tuning means.

It has several advantages over the AFC

1 - Timing and fuel are adjusted speerately

2 - Fuel cut and rev limits are also addresed

3 - The flash comes pre tuned for your specific mod combo - in most cases its ready to use as it comes.

Usually we see big gains in low end tq with the flash over the safc and a much smoother power curve

Do a search for more data

You never know. Power is hard to pass up when it's that easy o throw in some 100oct or C16 gas and then turn up the boost.

After reading this, maybe you could clear up this question Al, i know i'm not the only one who has this. If i have a boost controller ( manual or electric ) and a SAFCII, i can control the same stuff as you would with a reflash correct? ( i'm just asking this cuase i know many others will ask ), i mean with that combo you virtually got a reflash correct? can you go into a little more depth as to how they differ and such?

You can't control timing with the AFC II and MBC. You get an increase in power and torque with a flash over the AFC II because he is able to adjust the timing on top of controling fuel and boost.

no you can't control timing with what you have. you also can't get rid of rev limit. the afc used with the flash would be great. but all in all a boost controller and a afc combo doesn't compare to the retuned ecu.

It's pointless. Pick up a logger and your set for tuning.
Every car is different, even with the same parts. With your AFC-II you can tune the car yourself, and dial in settings that are optimal for your car. AFC, plus bigger injectors, and you will have all the timing you need and no fuel cut.

I'd be VERY careful about messing with an AFC if you don't know what you are doing.
