Is that the guy from Florida? I was asking because I wasn't sure. I thought I saw someone else posting that 418 was the new record and I knew that we made more than that a year ago. I don't frequent this board...so I'm a little behind sometimes. thanksand congrats to your friend.

I wouldn't expect the stock turbo to make more power just by making it sustain boost. It can't efficiently boost that high at high rpm, so making it stay above 25psi will just blow a lot of hot air that lessens power anyway. Add to that the fact that the peak WHP was around 5500rpm anyway, even if it gains some power up top, it's not likely to go from below the power levels at 5500rpm to 25whp above. Regardless, this is an assload of power, especially on the small 9.8 hotside.

Anyone know how the torque RISES there in the middle? That doesn't make any sense at all, especially if the boost was tapering. I've only seen that happen with the addition of nitrous, but it's more severe.

J Rivera's 469 awhp was deemed to be inflated due to Aerocomp's ridiculous settings that made the power numbers much higher when doing 4th gear pulls. I do believe he hit 432whp in 3rd, which was closer to being legit, but the whole Mustang-Dyno-Configured-To-Read-Like-A-Dynojet issue is very sketchy...

Was the flash a Dynoflash?

Edit: Yes, of course it was if this car is a BR Stage IV. This car has some great parts and tuning. Were there any dyno figures from before the SAFC was applied? When the SAFC was used for fine-tuning, was this because meth and C16 were added, or was the flash tune already set for meth? Need more info since this looked like it was all done by whomever got credit in this thread when it seems it was a Buschur/Dynoflash car to begin with...

/\ good question..

I dont think there is much more power to be had...the limitations of the stock turbo are very very close. Even if more power is made, you will probably run into reliability issues..

The real question is, what MPH did the cars in question throw on the tarmac dyno?

IMHO, The numbers may be nice with C16 and meth, but to me its unrealistic and not cost efficient unless you have money to burn.

For me, I run pump 93 octane gas with methanol..... and thats what I run everyday and the car pulls like mad...

THey said it already trapped 123mph, which is unbelievable, but it matches the dyno figures.

He did hit 432 on 3rd gear i was there that day with him when the car was on the dyno. I have the dyno sheet on my pc from his 4th gear pull it wasnt 469 it was 459 on c16 and a ported 10.5 hotside. That car does have that power and it displays on the track i saw on a website down in florida that he traped 137 at the track that car goes down the track every time 11.8 or better every time. As far as the dyno goes do you own a dyno warrtalon last time i checked you didnt you can not mess with the settings on the dyno because if you did it would set off warning on the screen i went to a shop to see whats the deal with everybody saying that they messed with the dyno to read higher blah blah so i saw when he took it out the setting that it came with and it wouldnt read the number becasue it was off with the setting that it came with. As you know and everybody else a dyno is used as a tuneing tool bottom line is you really cant change the setting on a dyno to read any higher or lower from what the mustang dyno rep told me and showed me that there new line of dynos will not opperate unless it has the same settings it came with from the factory. And if you where to get around the settings you would only be able to get 1-6 whp more thats all not 9-25 that everybody clames. Get your fact's stright before you go talking about something you dont know about get the facts from the dyno company before you go bashing there tuneing tools.
