For me the biggest reason to do it was the ignorant design of the hood on the car. It allows water, salt, bird **** and anything else to get in and on the engine. As you all know it takes no time for the manifold and such to look like crap. The coating keeps it looking nice, that is my largest reason for doing/offering it.

The only 10.5's are the MR's they are $600 ported, that is all we have. Yes, we can port YOUR parts and would prefer to do that, $100 each for porting. $125 for each coating.

We do all the porting here and then we ship it out to have ceramic coated.
We only port match the turbine housings to the gaskets, it is impossible to convert a 9.8 to a 10.5 by porting it.
Yes, I could coat the heat shield but to be honest it would still be ugly and cost more than just buying our stainless one.

I'm sorry that this is and I'm jacking my own thread, but while I've got your attention Dave... sir, could you help me with my current frustration? I just tried to eliminate the use of the ac compressor by using a smaller belt. I looked on this site, and found that someone suggested a 560k6 from local parts store, and Al endorsed it, so I went out and tried, the belt is aboooouuut 1-2 inches too short, I tried with all my might. I also tried their other closest sizes (595 and 538) of course too big too small, respectively. Now I have also seen on here that Al reccomends some "gate" belt, I looked it up and I'd have to go a good little distance to get one, so will THIS one fit??? have YOU ever done this Dave?? any suggestions??
Attn general audience: This is simply a request for info from an expert, so please no responses such as "why would you want to do that?" or "you know, if you take the belt off the compressor, the compressor will deteriorate without usage." However if any of you have done this successfully w/o purchasing a pricey belt from then please enlighten me on my foolish ways. Thank you so much.
