good shop to replace clutch in bay area (cali)
ok.. i live in BFE northern cali and any shop around here wants to charge a lot to install my new clutch... i live about 5 hours north of the bay area but i'd be willing to drive down if i found a good experienced shop that wont cost so much.. the cheapest i found was near portland, for $350 - but thats even further away so.. if anyone has any reccomendations and any ballpark $$ #s please let me know! THANKS!!!

We install EVO clutches on a regular basis since that is what we specialize in.
We have installed everything from our own WORKS clutches to Exedy clutches to the extreme RPS twin carbon-carbon clutches.
We can't come close to the $350 price but the title of "good shop... bay area" is what caught our attention.
We are an EVO performance manufacturer located in San Francisco.
If you want to get a quote, give us a call so we can discuss your needs.
Thanks,

Becareful of cheat labor. You want a quailty install on a clutch. Better to pay little more and get a quality install by experienced shop than have your new clutch fail faster than stock.

thanks for the replies everyone... it looks like a friend of mine wants to go to portland anyways so it will be a little road trip, plus hopefully a good clutch install.. from what i have heard theyve done a good job and they told me they have done 27 evo clutches so that sounds good to me. if i end up going to the bay area though i will definitely try WORKS, or someone else suggested the san rafael dealership.. anyways thanks!

Nice, you go to HSU? I went their for a year and a half, but knew I needed to do something else. Anyways, I coming back for spring break next week, it will be nice to be back in Arcata for awhile.
