Car feels funny, boost kicks in weird...
ok this is weird, i dont know why my cars acting funny. I think it could be related to my AMS MBC and Forge VTA BOV...
when i hit the gas, the car responds "late". hard to explain. like when i gas it, it feels like the throttle plate is opening a second later or something. feels odd, and at WOT at 5th gear and i let off, my bov sprays about 1 second late. i let off, and a second later it lets off. it doesnt let off late at normal RPMs and lower gears. But the car responding late happens at any rpm at any gear. weird, i thought it would be throttle cable, but checked it, so now im guessing maybe BOV spring tension.

wierd...keep us updated, easiest to check the cheapest parts first right..Bov..
borrow someone else's aftermarket BOV if you have massive time to kill on a weekend and test it.

sounds like the valve needs too much vac to open. I would say try a different spring. I havent messed around with the forge on my evo but used to have one on my jetta and it worked great. I just did the greddy types with the single spring mod yesterday and man, this thing runs so smooth. No fluttering at partial throttle or anything and sounds sweet. I have had hks ssq and the go fast bits dual vent and neither compared to the smoothness of the type s.

well i was originaly running a spring (yellow or green cant recall with 1 shim), but yesterday i took the shim out so now its running spring only and now theres no flutter, before there was always a small flutter after blow off, but now zero flutter, and it seems to run a bit better, but still doesnt kick like it should esp with my ACT clutch. would a leak cause this? i dont have my stock blow off valve. Ur greddy type S is better than GFB bov? wow i thought bov was top of the line cuz i was running a type S about 6 mon ago but sold it.
