Sadly this was denatured alcohol - methanol would have picked up some more power.

This was at 30 psi peak and with the alcohol spraying it held fairly well and fell to 21

 

NIce job AL. I thought stock turbo was only good to 25psi and how long well the turbo last under this condition?

 

Probably due to the fact that they were running 100 octane fuel and alky. Higher octane means more pressure if I'm not mistaken, then again, I'm a newb.

 

Well now i know what my next power mod is gonna be. Here i come alky kit!

In the time I have been tuning evos I have only heard of two going bad - and that is out of 1500 evos with my flash. We will see how this turbo holds up over time. The owner was previously running similar boost levels on race gas on a daily basis - he just wanted to lower his poerating costs by running the alcohol om pump gas. Interestinngly - he made more power and a better power band with the pump gas than with the race gas. This is prob due to the oxygen level of the alcohol.

So is there anyway we would be able to not use alky all the time? I rember you said you were working on something that would allow us to run multiple maps...ne idea on the time frame for that???

I'm installing your kit next week with similar mods already. How much power would he or I lose by using wiper fluid vice straight alky? My car made 366 on 94. I'd like to get close to 400 on 92. Doable on washer fluid?

 

so where do you spray the nos before or after the allky kit?
