I personally like the 3076R, it DOES spool faster then a 35R, noticably, and will make a nice and SAFE 500WHP on a stock bottom end, which is why I like it, if you want to exploit the 35R, you need a built bottom end, the 3076r is right in line with what the stock bottom end can handle, which is 500WHP.

The 3071R is also great but CAN'T hold 30PSI up top, the 3076R CAN, so you can see why I love that turbo, I hope this helps.

Can't go wrong with a 50Trim either, essentially the same power wise as a 3076R, slightly more laggy, Turbo Trixx has a BB one and it is awesome as long as Inovative makes them right. I have a Inovative NON BB unit, it's fine.
i wish i could get the 35r! the reason i cant is because i live in an area that is 6000ft above sea level. Mr. Buschur said the 35r would spool probably between 5k and 5.5k up here. this does not seem reasonable for me to get it unless someone here has the experience with it at high elevation and still likes it, which i doubt. i have considered options such as a stroker kit(which would prob make it spool like 2.0 at sea level) or a shot of Nitrous.

the 3076 seems like the right turbo, but hardly anyone here recommends it. most people say it will only make 450whp at 30psi(not sure if i would be able to run this much on 91oct and alky). the reason i considered the 3071 is because if it can make almost as much power as the 3076 on pump and alky, it would be the better choice since it spools faster.

a 3071R is a good choice but will fall off compaired to a 3076R at 30PSI, thems the breaks. 50WHP is the difference between these turbos.

for a 2 liter prolly 3071. for a larger displacement engine 3076. the 3071 will drop off slightly hiher than 7000 rpms. the 3076 has quite some after that and starts slightly later.

Hope I don't step on anyone's toes. I wouldn't recommend either one for straight 91 octane.

No competition I'd recommend the 20G. I posted a dyno chart comparing it to a GT3071 kit in the 20G thread.

It really depends on what you want. If you want the most HP and don't care about turbo lag then a GT35R is what you want. A GT35R is around 79% efficiency at 22-25psi. This means nice cold air and more power. If you want better response and don't mind giving up 20-40whp then a GT3071 is what you want. A GT3071 will also spool up roughly 1000RPM sooner then a GT35R and 300-400RPM sooner then a GT3076-12.

My opinion on the whole turbo kit thing is its either stick stock turbo (or 20g) with alky or do a gt35r, the gains from the gt30rs for me are just not worth it. I have a friend who has it and for the money spent the gains are just not there.

we actually have a 3/8"npt threaded billit aluminum flange that fits the EVO factory position on the pan, if you guys are needing these.

91/alky would also work even better with the 20G.

I did dyno an impressive combination today. Look for a thread titled BR20G-EVO9 VS. GT35R.
