btw you can get the studs at NAPA for super cheap, hell this way you can get one of them long enough to actually fit with a bracket on there instead of the BR supplied ones.

PICTURE!

i've seen the BR filter. it looks just as the same as the ebay one. but it does seem that the br ones have a thicker mounting plate then the ebay one...

maybe not.

Would that filter fit onto the HKS RS intake?

Yes, it should, because the HKS pipe connects to the back side of the MAF and this on the front. You will need to remove the HKS plate (adapter) from the front of the MAF first though; four bolts.

evo81, I ask because everyone complains when someone runs an intake without a tune, they say the car will run poorly without one.

I think the main concern of running an intake without a tune compensating for it is that it leans the car out. That's what I've always seen from tuners anyway. Btw, my BR filter has begun to fall apart after just about 2 years use, the end cap is coming off. Noticed today while cleaning it. If I had paid $25 for it I would just chalk it up to a cheap part serving it's purpose but $80... live and learn

I Just got mines from BR. It does look kind of cheap. The Apexi Intake looks and feels alot better. I haven't installed yet. Might just re-sell it
