I'm sorry, i thought alcohol injection worked like nitrous, where if you push the nitrous button then you'd get the extra boost.

I gotta look into the alcohol injection more hehe.

After reading how much that guy with the 600+whp Evo spent, i think i might have to wait a lot longer on that AMS turbo upgrade lol..

I think for now i'm going to get.. (just thinking for now)

- buschur fmic (already on order)
- UTEC or AEM EMS (but like Jack says, i won't pass inspection, that will be a problem).
- Bigger injectors
- 10.5cm hotside
- ported tb
- and maybe alcohol injection

on a side note, do you guys think a stroker kit with the stock turbo will help at all? I mean i will get a turbo upgrade down the road, but will i be able to use a stroker kit in the mean time with no problems or issues?

I've read that going with a stroker kit gives u a lot more torque. But most of the guys i've read about that have it, have a turbo upgrade too. That's why i'm wondering..

Call Alamo in TX 817-860-4300 for a TME turbo. Ask for Brice and he'll hook you up on a TME turbo.

Where can I get the 10.5 Turbine housing? and how much do they go for?

rlazer5000: i would prefer to stay away from the alky injection because i want constant power thats on tap at all times, ya kno?
About the TME turbo you mentioned, where can I get one? and how much do they go for?

I am planning on getting a full AMS turbo upgrade kit next year, so I don't wanna do nothing TOO drastic right now, ya kno? All the parts that i'm getting right now I hope will save me from buying parts later with the turbo upgrade kit. So i want these parts to work with the future turbo upgrade

They are back ordered for a month or more. The only place i found one in stock was at forced performance or alamo autosports in Dallas.

But if u plan on getting a AMS turbo upgrade, then just wait for that! Save up some serious bank and go all out! I really want an AMS upgrade, but i dont have the money (im a poor college kid). AMS will definitely hook u up! Good luck bro!

I couldn't tell u how much a tubular manifold will help, but i thought u said u were getting an AMS turbo kit? Their manifold is a piece of heaven......just try to save up for that rather than blow money of stuff your gonna replace later on. As for the stroker kit with the stock turbo, basically the turbo will spool up a couple hundred RPMs sooner and they're will be about a 15% increase in torque (according to AMS). If u wanna take full advantage of the GT35, then a stroker kit is definitely gonna help. But if your getting a GT3071 or GT3076, you'll want to stay with the stock 2.0L, but maybe think about strengthening the internals.

I will get the AMS turbo kit, i'd like to go with the GT35 but it's gonna be a whole lot more $$ than I expected. So that definatley isn't coming any time soon.

your gonna have to get every little bolt on to come near that number, throttle body, crank pulley, a little port here and there, AEM, 280 cams, pump injectors, pump, 10.5 turbo allkey kit, fmic, spark upgrade, and up the boost (24psi @ min) and some aggresive map tuning.

some of these parts are over kill but will need them later anyways when you run the ams kit (AEM, spark upgrade)

a Buddy of mine was at Pruven and saw 2 evos with stock turbos dyno 400+ no juice... if your running the stock turbo you DO NOT NEED Bigger injectors... A flash will take care of the fuel cut.. stock flow 550cc so there fine for the stock turbo... With Alc you should easily hit 400... you can run 26psi on the stock turbo with the injection kit....
