dude dont run a tubular man unless your just going to strickly race it... after a while it will crack under normal driving conditions... get yours ported and jetted from buschur.. 199$... and do the hot side port and jet coated also... get the 60mm ported TB, and have your IM Extrude honed... Bottom end of the 4g will handle 550-600hp so unless your want something thats not that daily drivable then go for it... Buschur stg4 is extremely nice.... low 11's and low - mid 3's in the 0-60 if you can shift fast enough... id recommend some new rear axles from the DSS, and a new flywheel... if your are upgrading your clutch...

Thumbs up approx. 400whp on stock turbo

There's a guy I met that has a car that puts down about 387-397 whp on the dyno with the stock turbo.
seriously check out his web page:

Stock turbo cannot make 400whp on pump(93 octane). I live in cali, so I have 91 and I only put down almost 300 whp on pump. Maybe on 93 you could get like 330ish, but what kind of dyno are you on? I was tuned on a mustang dyno that stock evo's do about 210whp on. I did like 335whp on race gas, but to get there on pump is a definitely a goal of mine, but 400??????

Check out www.alkycontrol.com. Look into the PAC controller which ramps your methanol injection according to bost. You will need someone/something to tune it. I am looking into this setup as we speak. There is no specific DSM setup on the website, but they can make one. Any further info, PM me.

Also, Buschur made 393whp on 94 octane but thats on a 2wd dyno. If he were on an AWD it would be less (however Im not sure how much less, Id assume 375ish?) I guess people should reference more clearly.... is it possible to make 400whp on an AWD DYNOJET using 93-94 octane. I think it can be near it. Since we have seen 380ish done on pump with the EMS, I think with a ton of other little bolt ons and 280s, it MIGHT be able to happen. But for the price of all those little bolt-ons, you can get a bigger turbo and make 400whp+ on 93 at lower boost.

even if stock injectors could handle 400 "no juice" you'd be running near the raggedy edge of failing the injectors... you better be makin' that power standing still cuz if you sneeze you might lean everything out and blow something.

even if you did stroke the motor... what makes you think that the hot side would not be able to flow that much more air? at that point your turbo may become the bottleneck and even if you can make 400hp... it's not a good way to do things.

Friend of mine had a "highly" Modded 1G and he was running 550cc.. with 500+whp.. and the inj were plenty good... Majestic Turbo did his custom t3/t4 with a P Trim/ 60-1.. Last time at the Track he ran a 14 flat at 117mph.. he had to shift 1-3... 2nd synchro was gone... Then he sold everything lol.. now hes got is 3rd 1g.. with a built 750hp motor.. but only a S16G... Came with it... He was also running a Supra Pump... Flows more than the 255's

Jeeb, it's Mike. With the upper torque numbers in the 300 range you may want to start with a good foundation of forged internals before turning up the wick like that.

Bottom end 4g's will handle 500+hp... no need for internals if your sticking with the stock Turbo..
