BOV adjustment *help!*

Hey everyone...

once again... ultraflip with another BOV dilema

alright... the background
i received my greddy type rs recirculation fitting last night from my faithful vendor... i had been running my stock bov for quite sometime because i didn't like the whole VTA thing (it busted a hole through one of the intercooler pipe hoses)...
i decided that i would install the BOV in the parking lot of my work (like always)

on to the problem
got everything in their... (tight fit... not the best of fitments with the greddy upper ic pipe... i'm gonna go and buy another hose for the bov to the pipe)... went for a test drive... the freakin frack spikes to 1.5 (which is o.k... i've been spiking to 1.8 with the stock bov)... and it tapers down to 1.1 bar.. prolly even less...

the adjustment screw is on the top of the bov valve (of course).... to open it up more allows the spring to be softer... making it not hold as much boost...right?... question is... how much should i "close/tighten" the thing to acheive the proper boost with this BOV?

thanks again for all your help guys

You have to screw it down and drive. Adjust as neccesary. Screw it down more and you can hold higher boost, but driveability becomes worse.

I would tighten it down all the way and work backwards. When you are happy w/ the idle and it doesn't stall then leave it.
