That seems strange, because according to the NOS website here:
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin.../OctBoost.html

A 12oz bottle of the 'Racing Formula' brings 16 gallons of gasoline up 4-7 octane points.

This means that treating a tankful of 93 oct will raise it up to 93.7 oct.

Don't know, but what's on the bottle and what's in their advertising literature are *very different* claims. One of these claims is incorrect by a factor gross enough to create destruction. Go figure.

Apparently it is similar to Torco's product (as discussed above) - MMT based.

Torco 1can 32oz take 5gal of 93 to 104 oct.

Total Cost 5gal 93 (2.20) = 11.00 + Torco(13.95) = 24.95/5 = 5 dollars per gallon of 104 oct fuel. A tad cheaper then a 55 gallon drum of 105 vp unleaded (300.00)but alot more convient. The vp is better no doubt but the convience with torco is great.

They may say that, but it ain't gonna happen. That would require a concentration of almost 1g of manganese per litre of gas under the best assumptions. And no matter who's bottle you buy, all the MMT in the world comes from Ethyl Corp. of Richmond, Virginia. But if Torco is the cheapest it's probably not a bad way of goosing your octane as a safety factor. Nothing's going to beat real race gas for consistent, safe performance, and even at Mid-Ohio GT100 is $5.25/gal and leaded 112 isn't much more.
