Looks great!

Do you happen to have a parts list for that car? with prices for the parts/work (no install) from buschur?

And do you have specs on that GT40? Spool up.. max hp.. etc.

I'm guessing by the radiator this is a drag only car?

Working on finishing the cooling system today. All -12 AN hoses and fittings.

The radiator, from what I am being told will actually work for this car on the street. It has been used on other 4g63 street applications. This is a street car first for now and drag second. Eventually it is going to be full race but for now it is being built to drive still.

The complete list of what is done on this car is quite simple actually.

Buschur Racing Stage 4, minus the standard 680 cc injectors and the AFC, $3145.
AEM EMS, $2400
1650 cc injectors, $850
Fuel cell like pictured in this topic earlier, $1,000.
Exedy Triple disc clutch, $3,000.
Turbo kit, ours with a GT35R is $3300. With the GT40R and the custom work would be closer to $4500.
Stage 3, 2.0 liter shortblock, $3,000
Stage 3, cylinder head, $1650

That's about it. This car has a very extensive cage that was done at Reese Chassis, this is the same shop here that built my tube chassis car. The cage in this car is legal for 7.50's in the 1/4 mile.

The GT40R is suppose to be good for 100 whp more than the GT35R. The lag, I don't know yet as this is the first we have run it. I am guessing 500-1,000 rpm more than a GT35R. I will be setting up the anti-lag in the EMS for this particular car so we can get it to spool when we launch.

BTW, thanks Jarrod.

So the GT40 turbo has to be mounted opposite direction? Will the car have an intake or open turbo inlet? Where would the intake go?

Great work btw!

The GT40 would not have to be mounted in the other direction. For this particular car it was much easier and I wasn't restricted as the customer said make it wicked. This was the best way to get the exhaust to flow.

There are a couple companies that have put the GT40's, Shearer Motorsports is one of them, in the basic stock location. It is a lot of extra work to do that.

Was that the silver evo with the orange striping on the wheels? I was the guy just up there with the red evo today/yesterday. If it was the setup in that car looks sick! If I could ever get my money tree to sprout I would have to go with a setup like that!

I also want to comment on how great my experience was at Buschur racing. It's by far one of the nicest shops I've been too. Very clean and everyone there treated me well. The car was done on time and they even took care of a few problems I was having due to another shop screwing up my DP.
