2WD vs. 4WD dyno #s

This has been coverd im sure I just cant find any info on it. I have read somewhere on here that if you take a AWD car and dyno it, then convert it to FWD it will put down the same numbers. Is this true? Is there some way the dyno calibrates the AWD numbers to make it match up to the numbers a FWD car laid down. If this is true I just want to know how is this possible. Ive read posts from Buschur and Pruven saying that they will make the same numbers, but how?
