More displacement & Forged Pistons/Rods are never a bad thing with any turbo. Any of the popular stroker motors are fine just go with a leader:Buschur, Magnus, Turbotrix, Switzer, AMS etc.

if you're gonna get a 2.4... that means you're getting a 4g64... at least that's to my knowledge... only two places offer that... rnr and rre.

i know of someone ready to run a built 4g64 on a 3076... same hot side bigger comp wheel. that's nice and all cuz the bigger comp wheel adds slight lag, you'll be spooling much faster than stock...

with that in mind... i mention the 3076 because with a smaller comp wheel on the 3071... you're gonna run into boost taper just like we have on our cars already... as if the hotside on the 30 series isn't small enough when concerned with a stroked/bored motor... the hotside won't be the problem in this case... cuz it's still capable of flowing enough... the cold side however is not hte same story. so... my suggestion... get the 3076 run the built motor stroked and bored (4g64 is both) but get it built at the right place... rre (rnr i believe outsources their engine building... can't be sure on this one).

you will be catapulted into a new world as far as response and boost up is concerned.
