Buschur turbo kit

Hi guys, i'm planning on purchasing a turbo kit from buschur. I already have a custom flash from dynoflash and i dont know exactly how to go about this. Do i retune my flash with al or should i go with a standalone ecu? What other mods do you recommend with my setup besides the ones i already have. How daily driven friendly would the set up be ? Any input would be appreciated.
Here are the mods:

Ur test pipe
Helix dp
Borla catback
AEM intake
Turbosmart bov
Walbro 255
Dynoflash Custom tune
304 hp on 100 oct

Depends on which turbo your going with.
If your going with the BR440 or maybe even a 500, than a custom flash will work fine.
If your going to go with the BR580 then I would say get the ems, also the ems can still make more power with the smaller kits but I wouldnt say its a must...
Gets some larger injectors also...

On a dynojet, 375whp and 357torque is what I saw one of these do on race gas custom tuned by Dynoflash. This is about the same you would get with a TME 6.5 turbo but the TME will spool considerably faster. Both of these cars had the same basic mods (cams, etc). Here, see for yourself. same dyno, same fuel:

TME 6.5Ti 10.5 Turbo

BR 440

Before adding a turbo upgrade, you should get cams.

Granted those #'s where with only 24psi on the 440 because the wastegate wasnt holding, that turbo could easily push you over the 400whp mark, but as you can see a little on the laggy side...

Why wasn't the wastegate holding? I'm curious because I'm going to be bolting a BR440 on in the near future (just got one used) and want to know if there's something that I need to watch out for/fix. Thx.

Hmmm, not convinced. I saw a couple of evos on my tuning session with Al hitting 350 whp wiht my mods and hks cams on c16 fuel with stock turbo. So getting a 2300 $ turbo to hit 25 whp over that is not that good of an investment. 400 whp on the other hand would keep me happy . But how about the wastegate, can't you get an external on that set up ?

Nothing against those two turbos but I have to agree at this time. My 03 EVO made 360 whp on a mustang dyno with BRS4 on pump gas, stock turbo in 4th gear with custom dynoflash. Looks like I'm keeping the stock turbo which BR emphasize that for pump gas usuage and spool time the stock turbo is hard to beat.

Hmm, interesting, then whats all the fuzz about getting an aftermarket turbo kit when you can get a lot more bang for your buck with the stocker ? More mods perhaphs respond better with the newer turbo? Quiker spool up?

The stocker is good for a while but when you get to a certain mod level it starts to become inefficient or if you want >400 whp you have to upgrade.

Here are some additional BR440 dyno results on pump and a 50/50 mix with 100 octane:

------------------------------------

20 psi - pump gas tune - 93 octane Buchusr stage 4 vs. 440 kit (same car)

Approx 23 psi - pump gas tune pushed to the edge - 3037 S kit vs 440 kit (different cars)

Higher boost - 27 psi approx (almost maxed out) - pump gas settings but run on mix of 100 octane unleaded and pump gas 50 / 50% - Buschur 440
