Quaife Probelm, Do Not Install
DO NOT INSTALLTHE QUAIFES FROM THIS SECOND BATCH!
The big female spline on the Quaife that goes to the transmission is too tight. Some have shipped out already. If you have one coming, refuse the package is the fastest and easiest way to get the diff back to us. We will be contacting everyone that got one for return instructions. We will send out pre paid UPS return shipping labels for them. We will be refunding your credit card of all charges if this is going to be delayed much, and also the freight. Quaife England is going to take the hit on this, we will be the middle man for dealing with it (yeah! :-P )
We just found this out and will be calling and e-mailing everyone today (Friday) and Monday. On behalf of Quaife USA, and Quaife England, please take my apologies for this mess. We'll all do our best to see that is sucks as little as possible for everyone. Quaife had more in productions, over the next few days we'll see what and how these can be salvaged, re machine them, replace one part of them, what ever is best for the customers.
I will update this thread and the main Quaife thread as more information is available.

Just had another conversation with Quaife. They have the parts already made in England for another 40 diffs. This means that they can check on what they did wrong and either fix or modify what they have with out having to get all of our parts back to England first. We think that good diffs can be here in the USA with in two weeks.

I'll be shipping the old one out either tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks Mike!

I got a heads-up call from RRE early Friday about the problem. It's fantastic customer service to have somone call and explain about the problem before we call them with problems. A big plus for my relationship as a customer with RRE! Thanks Mike.
