Talking Just got my AMS exhaust put on

I just got my AMS TBE put on today and all i can say is HOLY ****!!!!!!! The thing sounds SO nice....not too loud while cruising, but when you open it up it has a nice, loud, deep sound to it. And the power gains were amazing. I didn't get it dyno'ed but i can definately feel the difference all the way to redline. I gunned it a few times and was so surprised at the new power, and the throttle response is much better too. I just want to say thank you to all the guys at AMS for making such a great, high quality exhaust system. If anyone is in the market for an exhaust, i HIGHLY reccomend this one.

Can someone remind me what the average hp gains are from just the AMS exhaust? If you have #'s for catback, turbo back etc that would be great!

Glad you like your exhaust! I'm debating between the AMS and the Bushcur. Nice to hear these good things about the AMS stuff.

I installed your stuff, test drove/tuned it and I was quite suprised in how that thing pulled for a car with basic mods. Have fun!

I picked one up last week, after some initial fittament issues were ironed out everything went smoothly with the exhaust.

How loud do you think yours is? I must be getting old or something, mine hurts my ears at WOT. I hope it's louder inside the car than outside. . doubt it though.

I'll definitely agree that the AMS is one of the nicest sounding exhaust systems on the market. Every one knows AMS makes high quality stuff. Definitely recommend this exhaust! And this guy happened to get the showroom model!

Thanks a lot! It does seem to be pulling much much harder. And the boost is getting up to like 1.42 bar without tapering. And i love the deep low grumble it has at idle. It's a lot more fun to drive.

Welcome to the ams quality, some people dont listen when i recommend them this exhaust. Sounds awesome and great gains, i have their high flow cat, so it should sound louder with the cat delete.

I dont know but regardless it would sounds really nice, grumpy/mean sound. I will be getting a cat delete yet it sucks that theirs doesnt come with an o2 simulator.

There is actually something a lot cheaper than a CEL fix. Costs about $5-10 and takes maybe 20 minutes to do. Look in the how-to sections and search for CEL fix. You should find a write-up on it. I did this mod when I got a cat-delete pipe and I have been CEL free for over 200 miles! Let me know if you can't find the thread!

I just ordered my AMS TBE cant wait to get this baby on this weekend! Question thought does AMS provide all gaskets? does it reuse the stock o2 gasket? forgot to ask ams. Just want to be prepared for the install. Thanks
