ARP Headbolts needs to be Re Torque, yes or no
I have been reading about it, but there seems to be different opinions, what I need to know is, if they need to be re torque after a certain period of time.

I always remove my valve cover and retorque them after the first or second good heatcycle. It is rare that they aren't always still to spec but I've had it happen on a few once or twice. Better safe than sorry.

From what I understand, yes you need to retorque them after the first or second heat cycle. I know someone who didn't and he blew his head gasket first time down the 1/4, exactly 4 days after his motor was finished.

I don't feel the ARP's need to be re-torqued. We never do it and never see a problem. The boost levels around here tend to get pretty high

So what's the initial torque that is require inorder to avoid a re-torque? Also how much boost before arp head studs are required? Some people run 26-27 with stock bolts with no problem and some recommend changing at 25 psi? Some says the one-by-one method is a no no. too many somes

For the amount of time it takes to pop off of a valve cover, I feel that it is work double checking after the head has been hot. I just categorize it along with things like building a boost leak tester and testing for leaks. Being thorough makes a difference to me. But that's just my opinion..........

I did mine to ~75 pounds on install. Then, after a few days, opened that valve cover back up and torqued them down to ~85 pounds. There was one that had backed out a tiny bit and was a little under torque (~68 pounds). I've since checked them again and all were fine.
Good luck!
