Hi,

I used distilled water to flush and fill @ around 30 k miles, although I probably didn't do the best job on the flush part... I used OEM coolant.

I stuck with distilled since I thought the tap water could leave deposits in the system. Any concrete info on how crucial distilled water is? Should I flush with a hose, but then fill with distilled?

TIA,

I guess you may be better off flushing with distilled but goodluck footing the bill for it. I just used hose water for the flush and distilled for the actual final fill. Havent had radiator problems on any of my cars so I continue to use the same method.
