My Excedy hyper single is a 6 puck sprung I believe and it is really grabby and makes lots of chatter. (Not the most easy clutch to drive with in stop and go traffic) It seems to hold up the abuse as well. I know you're looking to save money though.

 

stock PP suck. mine just went out 3 weeks ago, so i went with the ACT 2600 w/ street disc. works great, but after 2 days of driving i think i am low on transmission oil, cause i am getting a whine in my drivetrain somewhere towards the front. anyone have a similiar problem?
