well, you have to be more specific

there is no such thing as "a better cam" there is only the better cam for what YOUR setup is, or for what YOUR goals are

what turbo are you running? do you plan to go to a bigger turbo in the future? What mods are done to the head (porting, bigger valves, etc) - if nothing is done yet, do you plan on doing any of this while you are installing the cams? Where do you want to exploit the power the most? Lower end, mid range, top end?

Hımm Ok

I dont think use big turbo and intercooler but maybe ı'm going to buy jıc headers. I am looking for mid range and top end.My head is stiil stock. When ı install the cams retune my reflash ofcourse. What is your advice jun 264/272 or 272/272?İf ı use 272/272 how is my idle effect? How much hp gain the 272's and last question, is it necessary to buy spring and retainer?

from what i understand the Jun cams are more expensive cause they come with valve springs, if you are gonna build the S**t out of the engine then yea for sure the Jun setup is a good investment.

well, first off I would probably not bother in headers....unless you just want looks, or you are trying to eek every last ounce out of a stock turbo

that being said, the Jun 272 would be a great choice, but springs are a must. The 264/272 setup would give about the same overall power increases, but have a more stable idle.

JUN sells a whole "kit" that has springs, retainers, and allows for the option of cam gears as well - the gears go a long way towards getting a nice idle and good overall power delivery, coupled with proper tuning

As for gains, I'd say somewhere in the 25-30 whp range....cams are like a "must have" mod for the Evo....tremendous value for dollar

Well, you wont gain 20 hp wiht the JIC manifold -I'd be surprised to see you gain even 10 hp. The manifolds tend to give a bit better spool, which means earlier power delivery, but they do not do all the much to change peak power.

honestly if you want power up top you're going to need a bigger turbo, or a white rabbit if it's as good as they say. I have the HKS 272's all around and the evo pulls so hard all through the power band but the stock turbo leaves me wanting aome more up top. The HKS cams are cheap and with cam gears they idle great, just enough *warble* to let you know you have cams. I havent seen the JUN cams in person but for the price of the JUN you could be well on your way to a White Rabbit turbo...
