people..lag is overrated. To the people who comment about the 35r being laggy, have you ever experienced a 35r evo?

Yes. It is laggy and wasted if only 91 octane is being used. My HKS 3240 was laggy on 91 octane with a stroker kit. However, like you lag doesn't really bother me too much because I enjoy drag racing. My point is, why buy a turbo that is not going to be used to its potential if other (smaller) options are availble that will save money and be more fun to drive on the street. If he was going to use C16 on occasion at the track I'd say go for the GT35, but that's not his plan.

I have, I have....and it doesn't hit as hard as a 3076 on pump gas....

not for sake of argueing with you, again tonight , but the 30r turbos are much better if you plan to run strain pump gass all the time....you hook up alky or dump in some sweet smellin race gas...then thats a dif story

Yes you will. Check the Dynoflash forum for info on Buschur's alky kit. I would not want to run alky everyday but some people don't seem to mind relying on it for daily driving. If you're set on a GT35 why don't you invest in a standalone and have two maps made, one for 91 octane and one for C16. It's really easy to download the different maps.
