Received the rs bov on friday and installed it both vta and recirc to test it out. VTA is loud, high pitch chirp, this can scare people easily lol. But one prob I encountered with the stock rubber hoses, the bov moves easily and depending on how I mount it, it can move side to side towards the manifold cover, or side to side to the radiator fans. What can be done to keep it at a fixed position safely? Also at my last attempt to go WOT and test the bov, the hose almost blew off. stupid stock clamps wouldnt clamp tightly anymore so I switched it to the one forge provided, and it seems to be tight now.

Mounting it to recirc is fine, kinda close to the radiator fan area, but It has enough clearance. Still kind of paranoid with the adjustment top of bov pointig at the radiator shroud so close.

With the airbox open, the bov lets off a high pitch whoosh at low boost, and at wot a loud mean whoosh. Im not into the swishing as much now, but just trying to listen for any fluttering but just trying to describe the sounds to you all. So far no fluttering or surging but thats becayse, I need to adjust the spring tension tighter. Mounting the airbox back, the bov still lets off a quiet high pitch whoosh, sounds like a little rat haha

Still tuning the valve though, with so many "clicks" its going to take some time to fine tune it, hope I hit the sweet spot soon Im starting to like this unit a lot and hope it will really hold up to 34 psi so I wont have to buy a new bov for a while.

No stalling yet with recirculating setup. But vta, I only tested for 10mins because I was scared the valve would hit the radiator fan. During the 10mins I had no probs, the sound is loud so you guys that love a loud bov, the vta setup would be excellent for you.

Mike any tips on mounting it vta securely? Also can you reply to my pm's when you get a chance. Thanks

So, does it feel like its holding boost better? I used a JDM MR DV for a little bit. It definitly held boost and i felt more power over my OEM DV.

I knew vta was going to be loud due to the horn. The turbo xs rfl that I have now was loud until I recirculate it By the way how did you tune it? Did you rev the engine up to redline at idle

I have the vta option. It has stalled on me once, holds 20-21psi great. Nice clean sound. Hopefully it doesn't stall anymore.

Glad to hear that everyone is having such good results as I did with this valve. Forge has definately made a great product. Once again, thanks Mike for giving me the opporutunity to do the write and what not. You guys at Forge are great. Two thumbs up in my book. I can only hope that everyone that receives this valve is as happy as I was.

Did you have anymore stalling issues with the VTA? I might have to get a reflash now. Any ideas to minimize it.
