There is definitely a gasket there stock, its metal. I had a leak issue at that same spot when a shop installed my Greddy lower i/c pipes and the turbo was incredible loud building boost with a composite gasket that wasnt able to seal fully and the pipe properly torqued.

Definitely check that spot and if you lost the stock gasket order a replacement, on my car with the greddy discharge pipe in place and the stock gasket with some permablack theres absolutely no leak.

Gonna go to Autozone and get some gasket material to put in between the turbo compressor outlet and the black Helix pipe.

I hope this will solve the whinning noise

you don't see a gasket? it should be a lot of work to get to it, you can't just "see" it.

There is only one way to put it in too, if it goes in upside down...it will screetch just like you are describing.

Use RTV sealant with it.

wow your typing is horrible.. my opion is you should have left this job too a professional.. you dont have enough expierence to know there should be a gasket there, you dont know what the difference between a big turbo whine and a leak, and lastly do not just put rtv in there, you use that only in conjunction with a new gasket..

Have you tried to get a hold of FP and ask them what they think. My guess is that it is just a bigger turbo so, it will be louder. But I couldnt say for sure because I have never heard the WR. Definatly use a gasket in place of rtv..

good luck..

If it makes the same noise as at cruise on the hwy as you start to climb a gradual hill, you are fine. My rabbit screams all the time as it comes on boost. Sounds just like the OE, but 10x as loud.
