RPS carbon/carbon rattles, need advise
Just installed RPS carbon/carbon and everything is great besides 1 thing that It rattles (sound of metal part hitting) during deceleration in gear at highway speeds and not during heavy deceleration.
Example going 50+ miles on the freeway in gear and leting the gas off it starts rattling really noisy.
Anyone has anyideas as why that migh be????

Personally. I think it is normal.
I commonly refer to it as "decel noise"... I've heard it in everything from a OEM clutch, to an Exedy Twin Metallic, to an ATS... Im sure other clutches make similar noises as well.
I personally wouldn't worry... buuuut, who knows Ive seen stranger.

yeah, it feels like 2 pieces of metal hiting eachother. and it only does it when there is slight downhil. it wont do it on the straight road or when the hill is steeper. ???
I had the clutch installed at the dealer, same guy does all the clutches on all their cars. Also they rebuld my 3,4,5 and Reverse Syncros (Mitsu 2003 TSB)

i have the same symptoms (decel noise) with my ACT Street/ProStreet combo. I didnt have any with my stock setup. so, i figured it was due to the lighter mass of the flywheel or the slightly beefier clutch...and was hoping it was nothing to worry about, but (like many) i still am worried that my car is slowly destroying itself.
anyway, am i correct to assume this, or might there be something amiss with my drivetrain? i just find it odd that the noises started as soon as i swapped the combo.

i am sure that the noise not suppose to be there, it sounds like something metal is loose, plus the clutch is $3000 so i would think it should be rattleless.
