MoTeC M800 PNP Testing

MoTeC M800 PNP Testing
I'm doing a little project for fun, and just thought I'd like to share with the EVO community over here a sneek peak with my custom built adapter harness I built for the M800 MoTeC.
I know every here is nuts over the AEM EMS, but I want to share with you guys what professional motorsports has been raving about for the past decade or so.
It's about 90% done, still waiting on the CAN connector from MoTeC before I can build a map for the EVO from scratch.
The car its going to be on is an 05' MR, wr turbo, hks 280, hks cam gear, custom built 3 inch TBE, and 880 cc injectors. If the WR doesn't put out the numbers I'd like to see it will be replaced with a Full-Race turbo system.
This is all part of a larger project I'm working on writing about EFI systems.
You can catch that thread right here. (Battle of the Titans EFI)

Some info:

Before everybody gets excited, list price for the 2005 M820 is over $4k. Of course you'd also want the telemetry module, which is an extra $900, and more memory (so cough up a couple hundred more).

Nice custom built adaptor...I see you have a lotta patience to work out those wires. But then again..I'm one with little patience for sorting through the wires so I had Motec Queensland fix me up with a nice PNP connector. Has a box with the required connector to hook up to the stock wiring harness, all Raychem'ed.
So what options did you get with your M800?
Cheers

Damn..sounds like you got all the bells and whistles...for a road car . Poor ol' me just running on a basic M800. Pretty pricey to enable what you've got but I'm leaning towards logging and advanced functions. Gotta save for awhile
My car's been running on the M800 for over 15 months. The adaptor harness was ordered together with the ECU. After seeing the amount of work that goes into fixing up the wiring harness..I'm glad to pay a couple of hundred to have someone else handle the work for me. CDI-8? Gosh..that's like major overkill. I figured something along the lines of the HKS DLI2 or Buschur's COP ignition will suffice.

nice adapter harness btw! is your car running yet?

This ECU and the CDI8 ignition is off my drag car. I was thinking of running methanol in the future, so that's why I opted for the CDI8. I figured that since i rarely ever drive my drag car, I'd build an adapter harness for the EVO8.
The MoTeC is a really expensive item, but throughout these years it has been one of the only products that have never disappointed me.
