Yah, I have an 03 turbo, an 05 turbo, I sent out the TME turbo to Buschur for the 20G conversion, so I have to find someone who can send me a used TME, and my partner in crime is getting a WR for the testing. I've always been partial to Buschur stuff, so I waited until he officially announced something.. But testing the different turbos in a hopefully controlled environment and "Street driving" should offer some definitive answers. Remember, I'm doing this out of my own pocket, I have to do this as funds permit.

How about a core exchange. We pay you $800 + core charge then send the 20g then we send you our stock turbo and refund the difference?

20g

It is odd that David has not provided an update with the boost leak/ wastegate actuator fix he did. Has anyone called to get more info?

Sorry guys. We are SO BUSY at the shop. The shootout is this week here at Norwalk Raceway Park. The 13th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout. August 13th-14th. The 13th we are having a car show/open house/dyno day at our shop. Sunday the 14th is the race at Norwalk. Any way you can make it, you should really come down. It is blast.

Anyway, thanks for letting me plug my race

The turbo. I found the actuator wasn't tight when it was put on. I simply pulled the pin, tightened it down a couple of turns so it had a little tension on it and the boost went right up. The car now is holding very close to 25 psi to redline. Same 1-1.5 psi variations in gears and small "spikes". Very nice.

We are so busy. Trying to get everything set up for this weekend and still trying to finish our new building.

Dyno is in and running. Mostly temporary hook ups, working on that tomorrow. Did I mention we are really busy? haha

I put the RS on the dyno, just like it was on the street. First car that went on. VERY disapointed in the numbers. Never used anything in my life but a 2wd dynojet though.

The car ran 11.7 at 116 mph on the stock turbo, with boost spikes over 25 psi and then falling down to 18-20 psi at redline. The car dyno'd 393 whp and I think 390 ft lbs like that.
ON A 2WD DYNOJET.

Installed the dyno. The trainer from MD was here for 2 days. Put the car on and pulled it. (I am going to go into this in a seperate topic, look for it). Car only made 330 something. Torque as high, HP sucked. I said, "Dude, that **** ain't right." He said, "What should it make?" I said more than that. (more in other topic)

Anyway, after considerable time trying to manipulate the dyno into giving me a different number we were successful in making as much as I wanted I then had him go back and change it all.

I knew it was going to be tough changing dyno's and learning what HP levels to expect again. Until I do figure it all out a car making 330 whp on our MD AWD can run 11.3 at 120 mph. The tough part now is convincing you guys of the same thing.

Check out the other thread about the dyno, please.

Is there a new dyno thread? Or are you talking about the old thread? I just checked the old thread and there's nothing new posted from David....

Mustangs read LOW.. No surprise the number wasn't what you expected..

But I have so much faith in it, that I already placed my order last week I can't wait to get my turbo.. you guys will get a chance to see some dynojet numbers in a few weeks (my car is in the bodyshop right now though)

My car will be running 280 cams, full buschur stage4 components, UTEC, blowthrough MAF, EVO20G turbo, JIC Header, DNP O2 housing, HKS-DLI2, and a Buschur alky kit, GM Boost solenoid, and a few other things I can't recall offhand.. It Should also have a ported intake manifold and throttlebody about the time the testing takes place..
