One cubic foot of air at sea level, at 70 deg and 50% relative humidity weighs ~0.075lb.
Convert 780cfm to lbs/min, and you get 58.5 lb/min.
Compare that figure to the GT35R compressor map and you'll see why what I said is indeed true: http://www.atpturbo.com/root/maps/gt35r.htm

Yes a 30R will hold a lot of boost to the rev limit but this 20g serves a different purpose. It's more of a streetable turbo that will provide you the power when needed vs a lagged 30R. We all know that the stock turbo has GREAT low end power and really good spool up compared to a lot of turbos - so imiagine a stock turbo where that low end power just keeps going and going . Im lookin forward to my shipment.

I'm still on the fence about the 20g9 or the GT35R.

I am willing to guess ON YOUR CAR, you would trap anywhere between 120MPH and 124MPH real world times. With a GT35R you would have a car easilly capable of of 130++++++++, you would also be driving an on off switch.
Contact Sean IV, he has a very nice GT35R setup he uses as a daily driver and he is VERY happy.

Well the 20G-9 is installed along with the Buschur race fmic and LICP! Went pretty smooth other than the 2 mani bolts that were a PITA.
After install I check and no leaks, so I was happy about that.
I added 10% feul, and took out 10% off the wg duty cycle. The car pulled like a FREIGHT TRAIN! I immediately knew the boost was too high for 93 pump gas the way the car pulled so hard. I checked the log and it showed afr 11.0-11.4 across the board with boost spiking to 27psi and holding 25psi to redline. OOPS! Suprising to see NO KNOCK present and still on stock injectors. Too much boost for pump, but it sure did feel good.
I then took out an additional 15% from the wg duty cycle and logged again. Boost spiked to around 25 psi and held about 23 to redline. The afrs were about the same, but for some reason this time knock was present at 5500rpms.
That is all I wanted to test since I tired as hell and its 5 a.m. I will mess with it more after I wake up from a loooooong nap.
Judging by my old dyno numbers(368whp) from a couple weeks ago and what the car felt like this morning I would say the car was around 390-400whp, but my butt dyno might be off and need to be recalibrated.
Good night, good morning, whateva......

I just got an actual number from the turbo shop. The 20G wheel flows around 700 cfm which is what Ted B came up with too.
Boosted AWD, we have a great GT35R kit, thanks.
Invoice EVO, you did beat LIFER by quite a bit on HP but he can obviously drive the hell out of the car as shown by his ET/MPH with the 280 whp he made.
evoonyoass, glad you got the turbo on. The WG duty cycle, try pulling more out in the mid range where the turbo hit instead of across the board. It will get rid of the spike. I had to do the same thing.
Nice seeing these turbos going on EVO's finally. Getting some good comments so I am very happy!!
