This what confused me. You say here that an Evo 16g flows 625. Now reading your last post I assume you meant 525. That clears thing up. Thanks for the chart.

The 52 lb/min of the 3076 equates to ~690 cfm using the same reference.

We can convert those lb/min figures to approximate practical hp limits by doing this:

42 lb/min * 60 min/hr = 2520 lb/hr (air)
Using an AFR of 11.5:1, 2520 lb/hr / 11.5 = 219 lb/hr fuel
219 lb/hr fuel / .55 lb/hr/hp = 398bhp (stock turbo)

We can assume this as a practical limit for the bone stock turbo, which is roughly in line with Dynojet numbers (which are probably more reflective of bhp). Naturally, we know that we can eek another 10% with some effort, but that should be considered more or less a figure used for planning.

If we apply the same calculations to the 52 lb/min of the 3076, we get 493 bhp, which seems realistic.
according to your math chart above, correct me if im wrong please, that a standard size (if there is such a thing ) gt3037 will move the same amount of air as the 20g9.

Is this turbo so new that there aren't dynosheets floating around out there? Are there no posts from those that own them which can be found using the search feature?

amazing.

i have my dyno sheet up here somewhere on pump and no cams with knocking problems and a high flow cat. since then gotten rid of the cat, and cams are going to be on the way soon. i dynoed 325 325 then with knocking up top. im guessing next time i should be at around 350+ 350+ with cams and a new tune. assuming im not haveing knocking problems.

My 20g stage II turbo 6 blade is going on this Friday. Once I get it tuned and redynoed I will post my findings and opinion. Hopefully this will help with those debating which 20g turbo to buy whether my results or good or bad.

My car picked up around 40+whp in the upper rpms with the 20G-9. It makes up where the stock turbo would die off. The turbo keeps pulling to redline, unlike the stock turbo.

I dynoed 430whp and 377trq C16/meth. My car doesn't exactly have the strongest motor either.

This is a great street turbo/track turbo if your looking for a little more power without all the lag.

Check out my sig next to my 1/4 time, this was into a 10mph head wind. Check out DragNRacing's signature also. He is running 11.2 or 11.3 @ 124 with the same 20G-9.

Be sure to show the before/after torque curves at the same boost level (preferrably 25 psi or better) with both on race fuel or with methanol injection.
