We built to identical cars, this car is exactly the same as our red car with the exception of the red car having a header and normal T3 turbine housing. Both of them have had the same "misfires". Yesterday we were testing yet another new ignition and found some huge butt dyno gains. As a matter of fact the car is now faster at 28 psi then it was at 35 psi. Atleast that's how it feels. Really looking forward to running this black car again.

Was this with your COP setup and the MSD Dis-2? Or are you running the Dis-4 and direct fire, no wasted spark?

kcevo,

This was a case of having even too much power for the DIS2 I think. We'll see tomorrow night.

Mike,

No cage coming.

David,

Are you using the CDI(except Ford TFI) wizard in the AEM to setup the coil dwell? From what i've heard the MSD tech's say their box requires 2.5ms of dwell time, though I have never logged it in the AEM of what the dwell time was when using the AEM C2di, it seems the wizard sets it up for 3.0ms based on the coil dwell factor of 30.

Not to get off-topic but is that "fan switch mod" that coolant thing you & Al talked about before that you plug in before the track and whatnot? Does it require any tunning, you can PM me the details if you don't wanna get this off topic. Thanks

We have tried about every dwell setting there is. We were not using the Ford dwell.

The manifold for the GT35R will do you know good. You would either need an adapter to run a standard GT35R or a special housing like we are running. The manifold is unique to our kit.

PM me for fan switch questions.

David,
Car is looking great!!! Some questions for ya:

1. Is the wastegate mounted on the adapter specific to your kit?
If so, is there any boost creep?

2. Will the o2 housing you have in your kit work with your buschur dowpipe?

3. What kind of blow off valve are you using? (Couldn't see one in the pics)

4. Can you maintain the stock A/C system on the car with this kit bolted up?

5. Can one retaine the factory radiator or is the one in the pics needed to
bolt the kit up? If its needed, can the car be driven on a daily basis?

6. What fuel pressure regulator is that? Do you sell it? If so how much?

Last but not least, no pressure on answering this just yet, this one can wait....

Price, price, price...... I am sure everyone wants to know the price for the kit.

Thanks.

I thought you needed a cage if you run mid 11's or lower. Is that just Texas?
