Leaking Transfercase/Transmission seal

There is 1 seal and 2 o-rings that need to be there to stop the T-case from leaking. I've been in the same boat as you with my t-case leaking. 4 failed fixes at the dealership later, i decided to do it myself. I found the Dumba$$ dealer resorted to gasket maker to try to stop the leaking. I found they never put the little o-ring in.

Pics below - check out all the gasket maker crap, some got into my fluid.

My repair slip last time listed the following as replaced:

T/F Sub Assembly
Oil Seal, T/F Case
O-Ring, T/F Case
Oil Seal, T/M FR DIFF CA

yeah me too...so do you guys think i should go back and have them check it? he said if it where coverd the 90.00 serv chg will be add to warrenty if not then i would have to pay

cant hurt. if they took it out though it shouldnt be your fault... i did read that they did work?

how long did it take to get it fixed once in the shop?

They could do it in 1/2 day if they had the parts. If they have to order the parts in, it could take up to a few days.
