The launch control table will be saved on individual maps. Just like any other table. So yes, you can toggle between the two map banks-- one with launch control, and the other without it (if that is what you want). However, with launch control set up properly, its not even noticeable during any type of normal driving. So much that I might even make it standard in all the baseline maps and not offend anyone

As for XMAP 3 not having boost control, I think you messed something up Still there. Along with a bunch of others stuff.

I tried uninstalling my Xmap stuff then reinstalling the version 3.0.3.1 26 from the vishnu website and the button button for launch controls is not on the initial screen or under and of the features menus or anything.....the older version of xmap 3 i had did have launch control stuff on it...but it said it was not enabled.

I have no wired the car yet for the launch control, but shouldn;t the menu option to setup a map for the launch controls be there? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you want to view a studderbox launch and NLTS......I have a few files from my GSX that you can view with this code: http://www.dsmlink.com/downloads.html

Email me if you want the files: JEFFEJESKE@JEFFJESKE.COM

This seemed a little too simple for it just now to be released.

Thats what I have been saying for months.....but I am glad its finally here.....The DSM crowd has been using this for years and it just plain kicks ****. You would think NLTS would be hard on the tranny but it actually makes high RPM shifts smoother and less jerky.
Studderbox and NLTS (no lift to shift) ordinarily is good for shaving a half second off in the 1320.

Too simple to be released now? The wheel is a pretty simple idea too. But man, how long did that take?

Seriously though, as every v3 users knows, we've been over-engineering a predictive launch control system for over a year now. One that would "know" when you want launch control activated based upon driving behavior and history. I'm not too proud to junk all that work in favor of a simple clutch-switch input that people have been using for years. If it works, takes of 1/2 a second off your ET, and puts smiles on peoples faces, we gotta do it I just wish it required more than 15 minutes to accomplish, from concept to working product.

Shiv

PS. The new firmware and V3 SMART software (with all the SMART tables, launch control, etc) will be up tomorrow night. What you see posted online now is the same stuff that's been up for a while. It'll be outdated within 24 hours

The v3 software/firmware I'll be posting up tomorrow is going to be used with SMART and non-SMART XEDES alike. Those without the additional SMART hardware (knock buffer and wideband) will simply disable the SMART tables. The launch control feature is independant of the SMART tables and can be used by any XEDE set-up.

My love for the XEDE is growing.....very VERY happy you took the time to make this launch control a reality......there's nothing like launching an AWD car with a studder box and sticky tires.....Thanks again.

I guess this means us beta V3 folks will be reflashing again?!?
