So this is Launch control/NLS?

If it works, takes of 1/2 a second off your ET, and puts smiles on peoples faces, we gotta do it I just wish it required more than 15 minutes to accomplish, from concept to working product.

Proof that sometimes the simplest solution is exactly what all of us are looking for. Afterall, we're driving Evos, not über-engineered German imports.
Any estimate on when launch control will be a parameter, instead of a map?

Yes, I am really stupid!!
Ok, if it wasn't for ASASIN79 on EVOM I would be totally lost. When it comes to this stuff I am really stupid and I have no problem admitting it.
So let me get this strait. Once the LC/NLS is activated it is always on, right? No switches or anything. I hope it is always activated becuase I dont want to have to worry about flipping a switch.
Once you press in the clutch for the LC you will have a rev limit to watever you set it at, right? On the NLS when you shift and keep the foot on the gas the RPM does drop or not? I understand the LC but not the NLS. How does it work?Sorry guys, flame away of you need to. I would love to sit on the boards all day long but work and children don't let me. SO I have to depend on answers from the GODs at Vishnu and the followers of THE SHIV.
Thank you for your time

from my understanding the no lift shift works the exact same way the launch control worls.....as soon as you press the clutch in to activate the 1st sensor it activates the rev limiter that you set.....so if you set it for 6000 RPM then it will drop it down to 6000 and not allow it to pass that until you are no longer pressing the clutch. That makes sense to be since most people shift near or at redline actually dropping the rpms down to a more clutch safe RPM is very beneficial. Especially because you won;t have to blow off your boost

The above is correct!
The LC/NLTS is currently a MAP but eventually will just be a setting in the software. Once you turn it on its on.....and you wont notice it unless you rest your foot on the clutch pedal while you drive. Its somewhat idiot proof because you also need to be at +X amount of throttle position. Trust me LC/NLTS is practically required for a turbo car....you will never be able to go back. Though it does take a little getting used to .....not letting off that is.
