boost gauge needle vibrates badly.. is there a fix?

i ended up just sticking a small metal tube in there, works great.. small brake line actually..

I got my "t" fitting today and just installed it. Took her for a test drive and the buzzing is gone~!!!!!!!!! Definately worth the $5!

Go to the plumbing section of your hardware store and get a male and female npt fittings with barbed ends and put a small piece of cottan inside when you screw them together, not enogh to clog it but enought to restrict alittle bit of the flow. then put that inline with your boost gauge tubing. you can also add 2 sink faucet screens and put them in the fittings so there is no chance of the cotton getting sucked through.

Aha yeah it rocks. You wouldn't beleive the frustration that came out of that buzzing noise. You see, before the megan gauge I had an autometer- that started to rattle about a month ago-then all of a sudden it just stopped working AND buzzing a lot more. I think all that vac took it's toll on that gauge after a year and broke something inside it.

So Once I get the Megan gauge, I install it and it works!!!! BUT- there's the annoying rattle still lol. It didnt' make sense because this gauge wasn't broken, but still made the noise.

Thank god for this thread- or I would've sent the megan gauge back and gone through the exact same thing again.

Now after my drives home from work- I won't be so pissed off when I get home lol
