Exhaust Smells Horrible

I was driving yesterday and my friend was following and after I get out of my car my friend tells me my car smells like crap. As I was driving I could smell it too when I opened the window. Is it possible that my catalytic converter is not working or on backwards? I think I saw somewhere that there is a certain direction that you have to place the CATCO Buschur High flow cat. What do you guys think?

IIRC the cat is in right because you can spin it 180 and the arrow goes the other way. That design of cat should not really matter for direction of install.

If you are talking about the smell of rotten eggs (sulfer) then you are running too rich.
