Wouldn't that make the engine way over-square...
Longer stroke than bore measurement = Undersquare

Stock bore is 85mm = 3.34". An overbore of 0.06" = 3.40".

2.7L = ~165 cu. in. = ~41.25 cu. in. / cyl

41.25 cu. in. w/3.40" bore = 4.54" stroke (115.6mm)

I have no doubt it will work. It is just matter of keeping the rev limit to 7500.

Ryan, can I be the first to offer to buy your used 2.4? It would go nicely with the GT35R kit I bought from you. Now that you've been getting more inquiries from South Texas (after quite a few people have seen your work on my car), I'm sure we could work out a deal.

Yes, I will keep updates on here all the time. We are probably going to keep the 2.4 we have now as a back up. I hate down time incase anything goes wrong.

Do you ever take any of your shop cars to the dragstrip or are you just into other forms of motorsports with them? Just wondering as I've never seen any dragstrip results with any of these 700hp cars coming from RNR.

Interesting build..

What are the cylinder wall thicknesses round the bore after the .060" overbore?
What is the rod length?
What is the piston compression height?
What is block height (main axial centerline to deck) on the 4G64?

Any info appreciated.

Regards
Shaun

Thank you for the correction and I have updated my post. The original bore on a 4g64 is 86.5MM, not 85MM. Here is how I came up with my calculations:

Stock 4g64:

2351cc - 86.5mm bore, 100mm stock stroke crank - 4G64

2.7 Motor

2652cc - 88mm (.060 over), 109mm custom stroke crank

Here is the website I used to get the displacement:

Wouldn't this be too big? I mean just the vibration on something like this and the loads.
