you are correct, it's there for the bottom bracket to bolt on. it looks bigger in the picture than it actually is. considering that the air has to squeeze through those fins, i doubt that hump has any measurable effects on air flow.

This is exactly what I think. All a vendor has to do is test the IC and prove that it’s worse than stock then everyone would stop buying the Ebay IC. I think that there are vendors out there that already tested the IC and the results turned out favorable. They didn’t release the results because it would promote the sales of the Ebay IC and I don’t blame them at all. If we’re going to see any real numbers from this IC, it’s going to have to be from an individual or unbiased shop.

Listen, this intercooler was pressure tested on my fully built gt35r the boost was 32 psi safe tune, all of the parts were custom built except for that intercooler and believe it or not it performed well. We actually did hit 600 but were running out of fuel (255 fuel pump) so we turned it down the car felt amazing i did spend a lot of money on everything else. I was also one of the first few people to put it on my car and probably the first with a GT35R on the car. IF this intercooler had a big name on it i guarantee it would have a 700$ price on it no problem and people would of been going crazy for it!

I find it funny that these companies that talk trash about this intercooler being made in China and that the buyers are contributing to the down fall of this nation and with the same breath they sell Eagle products that are cast in China and im sure there are several other pieces that they buy with the same source. I can see if the thing is junk, just say its junk, but when they come on hear and say don't buy this because its made in China and because you are putting them out of buisness, come on and use some common sense. Come up with some better reasons.

heres my pics

This is how messed up it looks if I install it without cutting or bending.

Look how I had to cut one coupler just so it wouldnt kink

look at the couplers here and how they had to be stretched out as much as posible so it would reach.

No lower mounting brackets because it wouldnt reach.

Next two shows how off center it was, You really can tell with the bumper on it, looks GHETTO!!

Look how cramped this is, its almost cutting my fan wires.

Way off center.

With it removed, get ready for the Uicp thats should be here wed or thur.

Do you have the lower brackets on in those photos?
