atpGT3071R turbo kit

im thinking about getting a GT3071R turbo kit--

if you already have one how much hp is it pushing and did u have to change ur stock clutch or can the stock clutch hold the power ---- and do u have to buy anything else or is everything needed is in the kit

Im thinking of getting one and boring the hot side out a little so it will spool faster because as they are sold they are kinda laggy.

hp with only the GT3071R kit

how much hp are u pushing with only a GT3071R turbo kit (no other mods done to ur car)

Problem is, by porting out the hotside you'll only be adding to the lag, if anything you could get a bigger a/r housing to make a little more top end, but again it will only add to the lag.
I feel as long as you stay with a 3071, you should'nt have lag issues, that turbo is quiet small and spools pretty quick, even with the ATP kit.

Exactly.. you may consider upgrading to a header thats designed to improve spool times, equal length models should help you out some, getting the air there in a ballanced well flowing setup will only aid the the turbo's efficiency and ability to spool up.

is there any way you can get a different adapter piece instead of using the atp which is really restrictive
