Awesome, any suggestions on what turbo to run (full race kit) with a stock block? I will have a greddy 1.2mm head gasket and ARP head studs, HKS 272's, mugnus intake mani, upgraded fuel pump and injectors, upgraded front mount (Nisei), intercooler piping, turbosmart dual port BOV, exedy twin clutch(will be in next week), and thinking of ordering a stand alone engine management system (still doing some research, suggestions???)

it really depends on what your primary application is for the vehicle

road race? gt28RS is an excellent turbo. Instant spool, well matched wheels, good to about 350-370 whp.

drag race? GT3567R or GT40R. For all but 100% track applications i would rather have a t3 based turbo.

street/strip? gt3071R will give great response, excellent powerband, and works well at all boost levels gt3037 can give huge torque, good response, but is much happier at higher boost levels. gt35R is an exceptional all-around turbo.

Most of these t3 based turbos can be swapped out simnply by bolting up, then unbolting. A good starting point to consider is either running a 3071R or a 35R, as the stock motor can definately handle both.

I havent seen much that really impressed me in terms of fuel management, but If Apex'i came out with a PowerFC i would definately consider that. I think autronic made a plug and play, but we have autronic on a couple cars here, its nothing too special, and the software sucks anyway (DOS based)

sorry i cant really give you too mcuh more input

the gt35 will bolt up in place of a 3037 or a 3071R, just need to make sure you order the turbos with the correct turbine housings and there will be no problems at all

same manifold, same downpipe, same charge pipe, just different turbo

I think Zeus may be talking about law enforcement cracking down on the loud exhausts around, you know, dog fart mufflers and such

Only someone who truly loves turbo cars can appreciate an external dumping wastegate
