Full race turbo kit...
I thought I would start this thread to get more info on who out there is running the Full-race turbo kit and what their opinions are about it.

From BadazzCR's thread pics # 1
I got these from BadazzCR's thread here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...+race+pictures
I think he's running a different turbo than what comes in the full race kit. His turbo is T3/T4, twin ballbearing, oil and water cooled.

It's very "cozy" down around the A/C compressor. The lower comressor hose fitting is only about 3/8" from the DP. Ideally this should be shortened and angled away from the DP. This would increase clearance to nearly an inch. The clearance between the A/C compressor and the downpipe is a pretty tight. There's only a 1/2" of clearance there. If I keep the A/C, heat sheilding will be a necessity.

Installation would likely be easier with AMS kit.
Thats just my impression from the pics I have seen of the full race setup. I would like to preface my comments with the caveat that I have not seen one in person.
I have seen the AMS setup in person and driven one - it is impressive.
Can't go wrong either way.

I have been dealing with Full Race for years. They are a great company. Their materials, beads, penetration and customer service are top notch. The owner of Full Race, Geoff, has even went out of his way to help me when I was in a tight spot. You can't go wrong with Full Race. And to the guy who said the kit is too expensive. I guess it's not marketed towards you or you have not looked hard enough. The price you can get through their distributors is more than fair.
