I bought a 5 gallon jug of it on ebay, I do my own oil changes. My dealer screwd me out of the free oil changes, They said I would have to buy the oil, bring it to them, and they would change it for free. I might as well do it myself because I don't really trust dealers working on my car, especially the one I bought mine from. Anyways, I have heard nothing but good things about Royal Purple. They say to wait at least 2000 miles before using Royal Purple in new engines. I've only got 1000 miles on my car, so I've got a little ways to go.

good oil. But too expensive to justify the money difference from Mobil1 versus the performance advantage. A really good site to check out for oil, fluids, etc. for cars is www.bobistheoilguy.com

Havent used it, but unless your driving pretty hard it seems like mobil 1 would be just fine.

yeah its just oil....mitsubishi just recomends Mobil1 just like Ferrari and Mercedes.....doesn't mean you can't use Royal Purple....Mobil might just pay the manufactur more money to use Mobil only......If I didn't get free Maint. I would use RP.....
