Spark plug gapping
Guys,
Without removing the prugs to check, how would one know if plugs are incorrectly gapped? I mean what are the symptoms one should look for while driving?

I know. I checked and gapped them over yesterday and I feel a difference. I just wanted to know what incorrect gapping did to performance so that I can be correct with the differences I think I notice.
So again I ask - Without removing the prugs to check, how would one know if plugs are incorrectly gapped? I mean what are the symptoms one should look for while driving?
Come on guys. I really respect your opinions.

It stuttered at wot only but strangely only this past week. I changed my plugs months ago.
What I'm feeling now, since I've gapped to .028 is a smoother low end response. The car is easier to drive in traffic.
Am I imagining this?
