If its any help, I own a 2003 JDM Evo8 GSR. I have been running a hydra ECU on it for more then a year.

ACD and AYC work (as they should since have their own ECU's)
Climate control and idle valve control are also active
Closed Loop cruise is also present
Antilag and Launch control is also available foc =)
Active knock control
No CELs
Autotune
Aux maps for water/meth injection
and a good deal more.

It may not be the BEST ecu out there but I would think good enough for most users never to notice and shortcomings.

Autotune is a feature where you tell the ecu what AFR you want to run at whatever boost/rpm. you go out and drive it and the ecu will +/- fuel to get your target air/fuel.

still needs a reasonable base tune to unsure car does not blow up while autotuning but it saves alot of time when used correctly.

no question about that. hydra pretty much does whatever you can think of, unless you are Ben Strader.

Hydra seems to be a decent system. Theres a local WRX using hydra and he seems to like it, but I'll stick to my Autronic.
