I found some main bearings out of a 4g64, luckily there were 2 different grades used on the main bearings. I was able to measure a difference between the 2 shells. These are the results of used bearings from ~99 4g64

Mains:
Grade 2 Grade 3
.07810" .07830"
.07810" .07825"
.07815" .07825

A difference of ~0.00015 between grades 2 & 3.

The reason why I didnt measure the other main shells, they looked bad.

Rod bearing thickness of grade 2 was .0586"/.0585"

enjoy
