I just bought mine, and when i saw the exhuast prices i almost started to cry! These cars are amazing but seems like you have to be a RICh to mod them im 21 and buying this was a Jump for me!
Zeus is it? Saw you where selling a Full Engine back IE Headers O2 Housings, downpipe, cat delete, Catback for 850 Shipped that deal still on? Count me in if so seems like everyone is happy with Megans Product.
I just have a few Questions though,
Fitment with stock Chassis brace?
Fitment with stock bumper? am i going to have to worry about it heating and damaging my stocker?
OOOHHH how loud we talking and does it come with a silencer or is it optional.
And how long these exhuast usually last. 1 year down the road is it going to be all rusted out ?
I know there some stupid basic questions, but im just curious thanks for your time

Check out www.meganracing.com for descriptions/warranty info. I'm over a year with my full turbo back with no issue.
I highly suggest people have their manifolds/O2 housings ceramic coated for heat retention... however many people do not and have reported no problems.
They clear the stock chassis braces... and these components can't interfere with the OE bumper.
All catbacks ship with a silencer insert...

It is a real pain in the *** to have it done right... and it is very important to heat cycle the parts first. If you, or your coater don't, you will end up like me with pealing coating. The polishing compound will leach out after a few (if not the first) heat cycle and screw it all up for you.
As for coatings, 99% of the coaters out there only apply "heat dispersant" coatings which are a high temp paint with some fine grain ceramic dust in them. For the most part, this type of coating does not lower under hood temps much. However, it does retain some heat, and more importantly reduces "hot spotting" by maintaining a more even temperature across the surface of the part. I helps with longevity for obvious reasons.
The best "s h i t" out there in my opinion is SwainTech's White Lightening. They use a "true" ceramic coating consisting of chunks of ceramic in a proprietary base. That stuff is freakin thick, and rough to the touch. The other type coatings are very thin like a matte paint, and scratch easily. The SwainTech is very thick and does not scratch. Matter of fact, you have to hit it with a hammer, or other hard heavy object, and it only then cracks. After having experience with this stuff, it does reduce under hood temps significantly, it does increase exhaust velocity, it does add power. It also is probably the most expensive.
In short, if nothing else, the ceramic thermal dispersants do help, and are worth an investment. If you have the cash though, the SwainTech stuff is heads and shoulders above the rest.
I don't have the link handy, but my manifold was coated by Performance Coatings up in the northwest. There is a thread floating around here where myself and others gave them a review. I think I got it done for $80-100.

when do you think the new systems will be available? I had planned on purchaseing mine in the next week or so. If it's not for awhile then I may just wait. Does anyone have a soundclip of this exhaust?

Just thought I'd share my Megan install experience. I installed my Megan catback a few months ago or so. I have a B&B testpipe and a generic downpipe. Lots of downpipe rattle with that combo!!
We have tried everything from adding kartboy hangers (helped a bit) and then loosening it all and then re-tightening it starting at the DP, but I still have rattle at idle and when the AC is on (wierd)... I'm thinking the only thing that will fix this is heat wrapping the entire DP. Kinda sucks.
Any thoughts?

dsm- before I installed the megan catback I had a different catback and never heard any rattle whatsoever. The new catback caused the fitment to be off slightly- causing the rattle.
zeus- I believe it's hitting the oilpan or possible the tie bar. It's hard to tell. But it clears both by 1/4' or so- so it could be either.
