Zeus.....Thanks for the prompt response and for asking questions about Megan's price structure. I'd much rather buy from a respected EvoM retailer like yourself then some unknown ebay retailer. Keep up the good work and let us know when the new 'revised' TBE's are in.

From what I can tell- the MR exhaust isn't as loud as others out there. A friend of mine has the JIC and it seems to be a bit louder then the MR.

I installed my full 3"ID cat delete pipe. Fit was perfect just like the old 2" ID unit. I honestly wasn't expecting to notice a difference in sound or performance and I was correct. Almost no change in either department with the exception of between 2,000 & 3,000 RPM the tone is a little more noticable and maybe a dB or 2 higher. It is still not overly loud and compaired to what I was expecting for a full 3" TB exhaust I think its pretty damn quite at part throttle.

After about 2,000 miles of driving there have been some issues however. The most annoying is the flange that connects the cat delete pipe and the rear most pipe, basically the pipe that houses the 2nd o2 sensor. Well that flange is rubbing against the driveshaft. You can see the pipe I'm talking about in this picture:

The flange just below my cat on the left is the one I'm talking about. I tried to loosen all the bolts and reposition the exhaust so its further away from the DS but it still rubs on occasion. Its not very often that it happens, actually its only happened 3 times in 2k miles but the noise is VERY loud from inside the car. It only happens at very low RPM in 5th gear.

I'm going to take the pipe off and grind the flange down to give it more clearance, that should fix that problem.

The other issue I have is that the DP is hitting 2 spots on the car. The front sway bar and the front subframe where the PS rack is located. This is causing a very slight vibration that I can't seem to duplicate, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Its not as annoying as the flange rubbing the DS I mention above but still there.

Overall I'm still very pleased with the exhaust and would still recomend it to anyone.

^^ omg- your issues are the EXACT same ones I had. First the driveshaft (which I don't think is hapening anymore as I have moved it almost a full inch away) and then the DP hitting the sway bar.

I'm unsure if I've ever heard it rub against the driveshaft, but I'm sure I'd know if it did.

I still get a vibration from that and the only thing I can think to fix it would be to double heatwrap the DP. I can, however, duplicate it. It only happens at low RPM and usually when parked and at idle or in first gear. And strangley enough it happens more when the AC is on.

Regardless I'd still reccomend the exhaust!

I just cannot understand why you would say the system is not loud. There is no cat, no resonator and a tiny barrel muffler. Are you running it with the silencer?

There is a Large muffler, the test pipe is resonated (mini muffler) so it is more quiet than many...

Buschur does not have a true muffler.

There is a resonator installed. I haven't even put the silencer in yet... I completely forgot about that.

I can't understand why it isn't loud either but it's not. Its not like I'm lying or anything, I have zero to gain by doing that. In fact I posted up some flaws that I found with the system so if it was in fact loud trust me I would mention it... but its not.

well the "butt dyno" didn't feel anything but the true test is at the drag strip. With the 2"ID resonator installed the best I trapped was 108.6 on 1.3bar. As soon as the weather clears up I'll be heading back but more then likely the conditions will be better then before so the results won't be as apples to apples as I would like.

Either way I have no doubt that the incresed ID of the pipe didn't hurt performance any. How much it helped out is the question... but hey I was happy before I even knew the pipe as 2" ID to begin with
